This site collects as little as possible. Here is exactly what it does and doesn't do.

Who runs this site

This is the personal website of Nick Williams. For anything in this notice, contact nick@nawilliams.co.uk.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. The only third-party service used is Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form (see below).

The contact form

When you send an enquiry, the site processes:

  • the details you type: name, email address, optional organisation, enquiry type and message;
  • a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token. Turnstile helps distinguish people from bots; Cloudflare processes limited technical information (such as your IP address) to do this. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice;
  • your IP address, briefly, for rate limiting — held in memory only and not written to the enquiry record.

Your enquiry is delivered by email to Nick and is not stored in a database by this website. Message content is never written to server logs.

Retention

Enquiry emails are retained in the mailbox for up to 24 months so that ongoing conversations have context, then deleted unless the correspondence is still active or a legal obligation requires longer. You can ask for your correspondence to be deleted at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you. Email nick@nawilliams.co.uk and you'll get a plain answer, not a process.

Changes

If this notice changes, the updated version will appear on this page with the change visible in the site's public source history.
